Heart Fund Campaign Opens Feb 1 and Tour Planned

The 1963 Heart Fund campaign opens February 1 with about 12 000 volunteers across Clermont Hamilton Adams and Brown counties. The drive funds heart and blood vessel disease research education and community service led by Harry H Santen. A February 2 four institute tour at Children’s Hospital Kettering Laboratory General Hospital and May Institute invites public reservations at 281 4048.

Vaughn Not Demoted Says Highway Officials

Thursday Deadline on Trailer Taxes

Thursday January 31 is the final day to pay trailer taxes without penalty. County Auditor J F Paschal warned trailer owners that a one dollar penalty is charged for every delinquent payment up to 25 days after the due date. The tax varies by district, trailer cost and age.
