The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio approves extended area service for the Cincinnati and Suburban Bell Telephone Company in the Loveland Normandy exchange. Census May Boost County Salaries If Population Rises
A potential federal census count in Clermont County could trigger pay increases for county officials if the population reaches 80 000. Proposed raises cover commissioners to 5750, probate judge to 14000, coroner to 3300, engineer to 8800, recorder to 6800, sheriff to 6800, prosecutor to 7250, treasurer to 7950, and clerk of courts to 8200. If the count exceeds 80 000, boosts may be larger. the chamber estimates 75 627 residents.
