Recreation drive grows in two Clermont communities
Interest in teen recreation spreads to Bethel and Williamsburg as Coach Charles Galey leads a drive to open a Bethel youth center. The Williamsburg Junior Women's Club runs a successful youth canteen and has received donations from Bethel Junior Women's Club and Archie Lee Boyce Post Americana Legion Auxiliary. A $1 membership is planned, with an advisory committee of youths. The Burg High Canteen now has its own bank account separate from the Junior Women's Club and welcomes ongoing support.

Batavia councilman Walter Haglage who is blind may be gaining sight after a cornea transfer at Cleveland Clinic Hospital on January 15.
