Fall From Scaffold Is Fatal To Laborer
Milford Ohio laborer George Ernst fifty four was found in the basement of his home Sunday morning after slashing his throat with a razor. He was taken by Craver ambulance to Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Mariemont in serious condition. His wife Ruby Ernst had locked doors and summoned help after returning from Sunday school with their two children. Ernst had recently been hospitalized for nervous exhaustion from overwork and had been hauling water for drought relief in rural areas.
