In Clermont County since 1915 the leading historian John Jock MacEeever, now Justice of the Peace in Williamsburgh, guards a complete library of regional histories. A list of key works is provided, including titles from Everts 1880 and Howe 1898, among others. Alfred Lefeber presented plans to Milford council for a comprehensive waterworks modernization including electrifying the pumping station, enlarging the softening plant, drilling a new well, extending feeder mains, and adding storage. Lt Mosbacker Recovering From Operation
Lt Homer Mosbacker son of Mr and Mrs Edgar Mosbacker of Batavia recently underwent surgery at the Navy Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. The operation followed injuries from a plane accident two years ago. He is reported to be doing well and will soon be on leave in Batavia. If recovery continues satisfactorily he will be discharged from the Naval service.
