Notice to Ohio Men 18-45 to Update Address With Boards

Col. C. W. Goble urges all Ohio men 18 to 45 to report changes of address and status to their Local Boards. Delinquency penalties include fines up to 10000 dollars or five years imprisonment. A February 1 1943 enforcement drive will round up delinquents, with names published locally after that date.

Farm Machinery Repair School Now Scheduled

Farmers Reminded On Farm Machinery Purchases

Edward C. Saxton chair of the War Price and Rationing Board tells farm residents to contact their County Agricultural War Board chairman for buying farm machinery or equipment. Do not apply to the local rationing board or War Production Board. Saxton also chairs the County Agricultural War Board and offices in Batavia. J. M. Wiseman, who entered Christ hospital last week, has returned home and is improving.

Clermont County Trustees Association met in the courthouse conference room on Monday January 18 with about forty clerks and trustees present. Ora Ferree gave a fine talk on many subjects. Farm machinery price ceilings set by local War Board

Clermont County Agricultural War Board imposes price ceilings on five used farm machines effective immediately. Deals, auctions, or private sales must follow CPA limits: tractors combines corn pickers corn binders and hay balers. Prices range 70 to 95 percent of base, with 85 percent for under one year and 70 percent for over one year, except reconditioned units guaranteed 30 days rise to 95 percent.

Income Tax Deputies To Assist In Filing Returns In Ohio

Acting Collector E G Weinemuth announces deputies will visit Clermont county to help taxpayers file 1942 income tax returns. Singles with 500 or more gross income or married with 1200 or more must file. Returns after March 15, 1948 incur heavy penalties. Deputies will appear at First National Bank Batavia March 1 and Farmers Merchants Bank Williamsburg February 27.
