The three sixth grades at Amelia school begin their annual campaign to sell subscriptions to The Clermont Courier and Amelia Star-Review to fund a trip to the Cincinnati Zoo. Clermont Receives Stopgap Polio Funds From March of Dimes
Clermont Chapter of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis reports a 2650 check from March of Dimes headquarters in New York to meet acute polio care needs. Chairwoman Mrs Margaret Abbott notes it is a second advance as many chapters exhaust March of Dimes funds. She says polio respects no borders and chapters with surpluses help those operating in the red to assure patient care.

Board Forms Interim Committee for Amelia Glen Este Merger
Clermont County Board of Education met January 12 and declined to create a full merger board for the Amelia, Glen Este Mt Carmel and Williamsville Tabasco districts.
