Glen M Daily registrar of the Motor Vehicles Bureau warned that failures to transfer license plates on new car purchases will be prosecuted vigorously in the coming year. He told Highway Director O W Merrell that many violations were found when people sought new tags in late 1938. Tremper Dies and Snider Charged with Murder
Frank Tremper died Sunday at Bethesda Hospital after a fatal incident rooted in jealousy over his estranged wife. Paul Snider was re-arrested and charged with first degree murder, held in Clermont County jail to await a special grand jury. Coroner Scott Kearns performed the post mortem. Snider waived examination and was bound over without bail. A special grand jury will be drawn for the case.
