Erhardt Named Director at Amelia State Bank
Amelia attorney Joan Erhardt of State Route 132 was elected director at the Amelia State Bank annual meeting. Re elected officers were John Pommert president Keith Williams vice president William Pomert secretary Herbert Jeffries cashier and director Delbert Wilson Edgar Bach also named director. The bank reported more than a 10 percent increase in deposits since moving to new quarters in August. Erhardt, a 1952 UC Law graduate, is an assistant to the Ohio Attorney General and solicitor for the Village of Amelia. Humane Society protests firing of Clermont dog warden
A four member Clermont County Humane Society committee protested the firing of Elzie Flora as dog warden during a county commission meeting. The group argued Flora’s work was satisfactory and urged reinstatement, or else a plan to appoint him poundkeeper.
