The cast features Judge Woodmansee as Pa Perkins John Clark as one mystery role and many local actors with fifty participants including a chorus and a village newspaper Sally Brown and Julia lead the cast. Director Dot Dippel reports strong rehearsals and invites the community to attend.

Thomas Carr aged 79 disappeared December 26 from the County Home without coat or hat. Supt Anstead and local officials have exhausted clues and now await new information. At a county commissioners meeting a resolution created a County Dog Warden and Deputy Wardens to enforce licensing, impounding, and damages from dogs. John J. Guilday of Miami township was named warden at 120 dollars monthly and must provide an automobile and pound. Tags must be bought before January 20 or a one dollar penalty applies. Sheep killings by dogs require immediate notification and witnesses.
