Clermont County teachers may enroll in Kent State University summer institutes in biology and mathematics with a February 16 deadline. Clermont County adds eight first aid instructors

Clermont County reports eight new first aid instructors who completed a course led by Harolde D. Nichols with John Friend assisting. The instructors from Amelia join local fire and life squads to educate ambulance corps members and provide first aid classes across the five county area. Nichols now chairs Red Cross First Aid and Water Safety Services, replacing the outgoing John L. Undercoffer, and will oversee safety services serving about 60 000 residents annually.
