Ernest Alexander of Afton, intoxicated and resisting orders, fired at the family car and a second shot hit Dora Smith’s car before the family escaped. He was jailed by Sheriff Roberts and deputies A W Mein ken and W Kain about an hour later. charged with shooting to kill and bound over to the county grand jury. Record Raccoon Pelt Reaches Regional Fame in Ohio
Earl Brion of Cincinnati area hunts at night with a coon dog and takes a large treeing raccoon in southern Ohio. The animal measured 42 inches and is the largest pelts seen in the region.
