New officers of the Upper Clough Civic Club will be installed at a Wednesday evening meeting in the Williamsville Fire Department building. Four members were named by the Clermont County Commissioners and three more by Harry Britton to form the new Clermont County Library Board. Appointees include Evans superintendent of Owensville Schools Shields a Bethel dealer Donovan a Neville farmer Green a Mt Pisgah resident McBride and Carmel of the County Council PTA Elrod a Williamsburg druggist and Crayer a Milford funeral director. The board will meet to discuss fund needs for submission to the County Budget Commission and mobile library service may be proposed to serve rural areas.

Smith Taken to 10 Vet Hospital at Lexington Ky
Yesterday Fred Smith of Williamsburg was taken to a veterans hospital at Lexington Kentucky for mental observation and treatment. He had threatened his family Friday night and has been held by Clermont County authorities. He is a Spanish American War veteran. Accompanying him were Deputy Marvin Bissantz and Kyle Moyer.

Foster Altman to retire January 21
Foster Altman of Felicity will retire as deputy U S Marshal in Cincinnati on January 21 after 24 years of service.
