CG&E earmarks 200 million for expansion over five years
Cincinnati Gas and Electric plans nearly 200 million dollars in expansion for 1963 64 and 65 with an average annual spend around 40 million. The program adds 240000 kilowatts of capacity by 1963 including a new fifth generating unit at Walter C Richmond raising output to 765000 kilowatts. A 14 million propane cavern 400 feet underground will replace large above ground tanks and support plant modernization. The company also advances a jet engine electric generator project cost about 10 million and a 102 million Enrico Fermi atomic plant near Monroe Michigan.

Humane Society adopts new dog license sales method
Clermont County Commissioners allocate 4799.29 dollars to the Humane Society for 1963 dog and kennel fund. Open House Sunday for New Richmond Medical Building
A $75 000 New Richmond Medical Building open house and formal opening are set for Sunday January 6 from 1 to 5 pm. Dr Nicco Capurro will lead a staff of two physicians five associate specialists and a full time nurse. The Humane Society will maintain the pound on Sundays and holidays and sell dog licenses countywide to fund its work. Members are urged to attend the January meeting Tuesday January 8 at 7 30 pm at the courthouse. Dog license tags must be bought before January 20 to avoid a one dollar penalty.

Five Named To Planning Commission Vacancies fill county panel

A car lost control afternoon December 26 and knocked down a wall at 1372 Locust Lake Rd near here. Kathleen Usher the driver suffered severe facial cuts and a compound nose fracture.
