New Richmond Bank Extends Office Hours

The New Richmond National Bank in Clermont County announces new longer hours. From Monday to Thursday it opens 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday hours extend to 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All departments stay open during these times amid measures to improve customer service. John Watson Named GOP National Convention Delegate

Denny Chambers moves from Bethel to Batavia to lead the Batavia office replacing Thomas Middendorf. Middendorf shifts to Mt Washington to replace Rich Parker as president of the Batavia chapter of the American Field Service, while Parker becomes treasurer. Rich Gregory, Batavia, is named a Kentucky Colonel for railroad related Masonic work. The NFC meets March 2 in Batavia Court House Annex with local officials and Rotary Club members. Mrs. Marian Carpenter deputy registrar will take reservations for special 1968 auto license plates until March 13 at Metzger Hardware. Plates 51GK to 998GK and 1001GH to 2700GH are assigned. AFS Batavia Chapter elects Bucher president

The Batavia chapter of the American Field Service elected John Bucher as president to fill the vacancy from Thomas Middendorf's transfer. Bucher will serve as treasurer and president until new officers take over in July. The next meeting is March 28 at 8 p.m. at Batavia High School. public invited. Letters are being sent to local organizations to appoint a representative. It is a community project and all groups should be represented.

County Opens Bids On Truck Mowers Auto

Clermont County commissioners opened bids for highway department equipment including two tractors and mowers with Wolf Tractor Sales the apparent low bidder for both units. Anstaett Dodge of Batavia led on three truck chassis and Thomson Chey Toledo, Inc. Loveland topped bids for a car for Walt Carter.

2800 Countians Get Cards To Reinstate Eligibility To Vote

Clermont County Board of Elections mailed notices of cancellation to more than 2800 voters who failed to vote in the last two calendar years or moved registrations. Director John L. Last Rites For Gregory Iding Vietnam Victim

Sp4 Gregory T Iding was killed in action in Vietnam on Feb 8. A solemn high mass was held at St Thomas More Church Wilhiamsville with burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. He leaves parents four brothers a sister grandmothers and a niece. A 1965 McNicholas High School graduate, he joined in November 1966 after training at Ft Knox and Ft Polk and served with the 4th Infantry Division. He was an apprentice plumber with 4H K Lamping Plumbing before service.
