Farm Bureau To Assist Farmers With Income Tax

Clermont County Farm Bureau Cooperative Association will hold a free income tax help session Monday starting at 10 a.m. in Batavia to assist farmers with 1941 records. Boss of the Internal Revenue Service will explain the new setup, with Nordman and associates on hand to aid in preparing returns.

Batavia High Fights Georgetown In 33-31 Loss

Batavia High lost to Georgetown 33 to 31 on their home court in a hard fought regular season finale. Georgetown’s fast passing and sharp shooting carried the win while Batavia missed several close shots. University Specialist To Aid Clermont Farmers In Records

Ohio State University specialist Lyle Barnes will visit Clermont County on Tuesday in Batavia to assist farmers with farm account packs. A 10 a.m. meeting in the county courthouse conference room and a 1 p.m. session for first time record keepers are planned to help with tax law and income reporting. Record books are available at the County Agricultural Agent's office.
