Slow tobacco delivery delays farm movement
Pool tobacco arrivals are very slow at 80 percent. By last week about a third of the estimated crop had been delivered, leaving two thirds to come in and pushing the tobacco house closing date late. Delays stem from farmers not bulking down their crop on time and attending to other duties.
