County Inmate Killed in Batavia Auto Crash

Marian Mulligan 70, inmate at Clermont County Infirmary since September, was killed Saturday afternoon when he ran into a car on Route 22 just outside Batavia. Driver Albert Davis said he honked as Mulligan, walking toward town, became excited and struck the windshield post. Mulligan, a former county resident, died of a fractured skull. funeral services followed at Moore Funeral Home.

Ohio Council of Churches to Hold World Government Meetings

The Ohio Council of Churches announces a state wide series of inter church meetings to promote American participation in world organization to prevent future wars.
