All ready for Clermont County basketball tournaments to be held at New Richmond and Batavia with teams including New Richmond Amelia Bethel Felicity Milford Goshen Moscow Owensville Williamsburg and Batavia. Boys event runs February 28 March 1 and 8 at New Richmond with drawings the same week. Girls tournament slated for Batavia mid March with ample accommodations and welcoming organizers.

Aged Lady Dies at Daughter’s Home Near Williamsburg
Mrs. Frederica Mosbacher aged 76 died at her daughter Mrs. Chas Bauer’s home near Williamsburg last Friday after a long illness. She was mother to several children and had lost her husband and two children years ago. Funeral was held at the U B Church Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial followed in Union cemetery with Rev. Semrau and Rev. Abbott in charge.

Bus Drivers Examinations Held for Clermont County
Last Thursday 24 bus drivers serving consolidated schools gathered at the county school superintendent's office in Batavia for a written test on bus operation signals and other safety items. The exam was sent to Columbus for grading after completion. Sight and hearing were checked. Albert Feike supervised for Secretary of State Clarence J. Brown. No fatalities reported in Clermont County to date. new transport equipment planned for all routes soon.
