Payroll tax to hit Clermont workers in Hamilton County
About 8000 Clermont residents employed in Hamilton County will face Cincinnati’s 1 percent gross income payroll tax starting April 1 and running to October 31. Clermont workers at Evendale and Lockland plants are exempt as those towns lie outside Cincinnati city limits. Norwood laborers will be taxed, while Clermont’s unemployment rolls total 600.
