Ohio Prohibition Convention To Push State Amendment
State wide prohibition advocates in Columbus on February 1 2 launched a drive to place an amendment before voters next November. Among speakers were Rep Decker J B Cox R A Mack Hall Summers Ex Congressmen Lentz and Governor Hodges. Clermont county sent three delegates T G Foster J C Fuhr and Rev John Ewald. The convention drew 1500 delegates and urged town by town mobilization for a dry campaign.

Sidney Strickland a colored inmate of the county infirmary died last Sunday after a brief illness. Born in Kentucky she had lived in the state for 80 years and had been at the infirmary over three years. Funeral arranged for Milford on Monday. The county house maintains a steady inmate count regardless of deaths.

P D Milner and Mrs K F Milner celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary on February 9 1915 at Bethel with a white crepe wedding dress fifty year old coat and a green and gold home decor. Thirty two guests shared a sumptuous dinner and a 2 to 4 reception with neighbors and friends. Out of town guests came from Reading Forestville Augusta Donnellon Granite City and other nearby towns.
