Eight teams compete in the Clermont County Junior High basketball tournament starting Saturday February 13 at Amelia and Northeastern high schools. Ohio Governor James A. Rhodes vowed township government will stay as long as he is governor at the state convention in Columbus. Clermont County sent eleven trustees clerks with officers Harold Bissantz Batavia Township Harley Clark Pierce Township and Minton Christman Miami Township. Rhodes urged township trustees to push government from townships to Washington and support airport development to attract industry.
