Man Faces Charges in Robbery Attempt

About 25 of 116 workers at the Mosler Lock Co plant in Milford joined a strike at 6 a.m. Tuesday after their contract expired at midnight Sunday. Police say trouble with the Gardener brothers and their father at 189 Forest Avenue Batavia led to arrests by deputies. They allegedly carried hunting knives and a knife was displayed during a confrontation.
