Descendent Of Jacob Light Town Founder Dies At 93
Mrs. Flavella Light Altman 93 of New Richmond died February 2 at Bethesda Home Cincinnati. She was a descendant of New Richmond founder. Funeral services were held at Lew F White funeral home with Rev. Charles Murphy and Rev. Edward Tuten. Burial at Green Mound Cemetery February 4. Survived by two daughters Ruth Altman Greene and Esther Altman, five grandchildren.

Army Car Strikes Hambone Ellis in Williamsburg
Harold "Hambone" Ellis, 43, was struck by an Army car on Rt 276 north of Williamsburg and admitted to Christ Hospital in satisfactory condition. He suffered pelvic and right leg fractures, possible internal injuries, and facial cuts. Sgt Allan A. Mitchell, driving four Army officers, reported Ellis wore dark clothing and no light. Police found no negligence or excessive speed. the car was traveling about 25 mph.

First County Nurse Dies Husband Led Local Schools
