Clifford Robinson a truck driver at Cincinnati Gas and Electric retires after 36 years of service. He began January 5 1925 and spent most of his career in the Overhead Transmission Division at Evanson later transferring in 1952 to Milford Eastern Division. On Tuesday January 24 kindergarten teachers from Clermont County met at Felicity School. Guests included Mrs Margaret Rice Mrs Madeline Houser Miss Margaret Best and Miss Cordelia Parker along with Felicity principal Adaline Smith. James Wisecup coordinated. They discussed reporting to parents bulletins communications school policy daily schedules and curriculum for kindergartens and shared project displays with take home instructions.

Mrs DeFelice Named Administrator In County Post

Mrs Afgella DeFelice former county health supervisor was appointed administrator of the retarded children's program by county commissioners. The new post pays 4320 dollars yearly with 3000 covered by the state. Commission action also granted pay raises to most welfare department staff except three. Prosecutor Ralph A Hill advised the board they may legally refuse to establish a new township amid New Richmond's petition to form one.

Revenue from prepaid tax receipts reported by State Treasurer Joseph T. Ferguson shows a strong retail week in Clermont County. For the week ending Jan 14 receipts totaled 8763.58 with motor vehicle tax collections at 4783.75. Year to date collections reach 414903.78 versus 390615.68 last year.

Junior Tourney Opens Friday in Clermont County

The Clermont County junior high basketball tournament starts Friday in the high school gym. Moscow meets Amelia at 7 p.m. with Newtonsville facing Owensville at 8:15. Saturday features Williamsburg vs Bethel at 6 p.m. Batavia vs Felicity at 7:15 and Amelia or Moscow at 2:30. Semi finals on Feb 10 and final on Feb 11.

Attorney opens a Milford office at 125 Waters St after leaving Hair and Hartsock in Cincinnati where he practiced three and a half years. Veidt Memorial Service Scheduled for 1st Lt Jack Veidt

Milford memorial service set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Milford Methodist Church for 1st Lt Jack Veidt eldest son of Mr and Mrs John H Veidt. He was killed in a German aviation accident two weeks ago and his body returned to the United States last week. A separate military funeral was held in Ozark Alabama for the West Point graduate. Share Tax Bill Introduced by Reps Jackson Ankeney

Clermont County lawmakers propose sharing city income taxes with residents. The bill would return 50 percent to incorporated communities where the taxpayer lives, or 30 percent to township and 20 percent to county for unincorporated areas.
