Bethel Tate Schools Approve New Primary Building Plan
At a special meeting the Bethel Tate Board of Education approved detailed drawings for a new one story primary school. The L shaped building on the southwest Bethel site will cost up to 330000 and allow future expansion. Financing uses notes at 2 percent then reinvested in short-term bonds to save taxpayers about three quarters of one percent in six months. Construction start depends on bids.

Sergeant Emerson A. Sullivan son of Mr and Mrs Sydney Sullivan Box 505 Main Street Batavia Ohio is on duty with the 502nd Reconnaissance Platoon at Eighth Army headquarters Korea. The platoon safeguards EUSAK commander Lieutenant General Matthew B Ridgeway. Sullivan, ex Batavia Public High School student, joined the Army in January 1947 and arrived in Korea as a tank driver with the 52nd in early July 1960.
