OWU Music Festival Attracts 34 Students
Two Clermont County high schools send 34 music students to Ohio Wesleyan University for the 16th annual High School Music Festival in Delaware. Amelia High School represents five band members, 16 choir members, and one vocal instructor. Williamsburg High School sends 12 choir members and one bandsman plus two faculty chaperones. The festival, organized by OWU music department with Prof. Robert Bowlus as chairman, features two bands an orchestra and a chorus of 800 voices. Each ensemble includes 80 musicians and the day includes rehearsals a public concert at 7 15 p.m. in Gray Chapel and a luncheon plus dinner for attending supervisors.

Trailer Damaged in Blaze at Flick's Sales & Service

Bethel To Study Light Plant Offer

Would Be Thieves Foiled In Milford Attempt
Two youths from Cincinnati and a Milford resident attempted a robbery at the Wash It establishment in Milford Thursday at 3:15 pm. One distracts while the other opened the cash drawer and took about $22. Miss Marge Bosch detained the boy with the money until police arrived. The trio were sent to Juvenile Court for probation.
