Daniel Curtis born June 22 1845 grew among early settlers clearing land farming and selling surplus to Cincinnati. He served in the 9th Regiment O V C Co L 1863 1865 married Margaret Bull January 7 1866 had three children. He died January 10 1981 after a long illness, remembered for faith family and interest in progress from plank roads to railways and telephones.

Coons Captured by Kyle Moyer Hunters
Kyle Moyer, a garage man and part time coon hunter, pursued a pair of coons Saturday night. One was killed and one captured alive after a fierce dog fight. Moyer farms a kennel of about 15 hounds and plans to keep the live coon as a pet. Jacob Moore assisted in the capture amid a lawfully timed fur bearing hunt.
