A C Stark aged 88 years died at his Batavia home on Wednesday January 26. Funeral services were held at Moore Funeral Home Friday Jan 28 and interment was in Union cemetery. He lived in Batavia his whole life and attended the Methodist church. A sister Mrs Hutchinson died about a year ago.

Ely, Clermont County businessman, dies at 84
Harry D. Ely longtime Bantam resident and Clermont County citizen died at his home last Wednesday at age 84. Funeral services were held at Old Bethel church and burial took place at Mt. Moriah cemetery. He operated a Bantam store founded by the Ely family over 80 years ago. Surviving are four children Carl Dale Clara Hill Helen Callahan, fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and brother Elmer.
