Escape From Icy Creek Trapper Rescued After Deep Freeze

Fire destroys 12-room tollbooth home near Tobasco
A Sunday morning blaze on Cloughpike near Tobasco destroyed a 12 room residence owned by Jack Stein after firefighters battled a hard blaze. The Amelia fire department arrived quickly and used chemical extinguishing agents to confine the fire to the house. Loss estimated at $12,000 with $6,000 insured.
