Four arrested after a police chase regarding the Convenient Food Mart holdup in Mt. Carmel. Suspects include Kevin Lynn Reedy 18 and Russell Wayne Taylor 22 with two juveniles. all charged or being charged with aggravated robbery or complicity. Union Trustees act on zoning cases
Union Township Trustees met at 7 p.m. December 12 at the Township Hall. They set a reorganizational meeting for January 2, 1979, renewed the Wilhiamsville Volunteer Fire Department contract, and reviewed several zoning cases. Cases 21-78-7 and 23-78-7 were withdrawn, case 22-78-7 was taken under advisement, case 25-78-7 was denied, and case 26-78-7 was approved by the zoning commission. The next meeting is December 26 at 7 p.m. A eight-year-old girl, Kellie Marie Nelson, was struck and killed by a hit-and-run on SR 222 December 11. police search for the driver. Services were held at Spring Grove and burial at Green Mound Cemetery.
