Court action has begun to obtain a site for the village’s proposed new sewer system. The 3.20 acre parcel lies on the East Fork opposite the village within a 70acre entailed estate of the late James L. Brown. Disentailment proceedings seek legal transfer with Mrs. Florence Walker as plaintiff and James W. Walker Roslyn Walker and three children among defendants. The village offers $2.00 for real estate easements and rights of way including water and power lines and a roadway access easement.
