Rabbit Hunter Dies Near Home After Heart Attack
John Binkley, 75, was found Friday afternoon on his property near Afton. He left at 7:30 am to check rabbit traps and was stricken 175 feet from his house. Sheriff and coroner ruled death natural. he leaves daughter Ida Woods and son Pingree Binkley. Funeral arrangements set at Maham funeral home in Williamsburg.

Discharged Veteran Crushed To Death
Richard Carrington, 28, a three year veteran who recently left the service, was crushed Friday at Georgetown when a prop slipped on a sand truck he operated. He spent much of his service in the South Pacific and was the son of Mr and Mrs Horace Carrington. He was unmarried and survived by three sisters and one brother.
