Pigeon Fanciers to Screen Homing Pigeon Film in Cincinnati
The Homing Pigeon film will be shown at the Cincinnati Nature Center Rowe Interpretive Building on Sunday December 17 at 730 pm. Sponsored by The Eastern Hills Flyers one of six Cincinnati pigeon clubs the free public event invites all enthusiasts. AIR FORCE CAPT THOMAS L THOMPSON son of Batavia residents received the Distinguished Flying Cross for a Vietnam mission delivering food and ammunition to Dak Pek under attack. He earned the medal as a C 7 commander and was honored at Sheppard AFB Texas where he serves as a T 37 instructor with Air Training Command. Also noted U S AIR FORCE STAFF SGT BRIAN A REGENSBURGER of Milford arrives at Clark AB Philippines for PACAF duties as an aircraft electrical repairman. a 1965 Moeller High School graduate and Xavier University alum with wife Carmen Santos. Sweet Adelines Set Annual Christmas Program for Men Home
Clermont Valley Chapter Sweet Adelines chorus and quartets will perform their annual Christmas program for residents of the Salvation Army Home for Men in Norwood on Monday evening December 18. Afterward the group returns to the American Legion Hall at Mt. Carmel for a brief rehearsal and Christmas party.
