Dog Licenses On Sale Dec 11 In Clermont County

Dog licenses for 1973 go on sale December 11 through January 20 in the Clermont County auditor's office and 18 community locations announced by Auditor Arnold Stumpf. Fee is 2 dollars. kennel licenses are 10 dollars with penalties after January 21.

Pinkham Farm Restoration Group Seeks Historic Title

A Clermont County preservation group led by Judge Louis J. Schwartz aims to obtain title to the Pinkham Farm on SR 125 near Bantam. Salvage rights on the former owners expired. the team plans to use materials from the Rev. John Collins property to restore the mansion and machinery building for future use as a preservation site. The Collins and Pinkham properties were acquired for the East Fork Reservoir project. only the Collins home will be underwater. The group will incorporate with Joyce Dunn as secretary and has formed committees to dismantle the Collins home and plan the Pinkham property use.
