The Williamsburg High School Band Seventh Grade Band and High School Chorus present their annual Christmas Concert on Monday evening December 17 at 8 o'clock in the school auditorium. The program includes a mix of traditional and contemporary Christmas pieces led by student performers with an audience invitation and a forthcoming Orlando trip for 1980. Admission at the door is Adults 2 dollars Students 1 dollar Preschoolers and Senior Citizens free.

Water system upgrades across county total seven million dollars
County officials outline more than seven million dollars in water system improvements. Projects include a 340 thousand dollar Lake work, two one million gallon tanks at Day Heights and East Batavia Heights, line reinforcements, and a booster at Locust Corner Road totaling about 2.8 million. Cunningham Named Trooper of the Year in Batavia Post

Reed named new housing officer for county
County administrator C. Reed has been named the county housing officer. The appointment occurred at the commissioners meeting Friday December 7. Reed cited the Community Reinvestment Area 1 as the only county district eligible for 15 year real property tax abatements if requirements are met. He will forward exemption applications to the county auditor for review and may revoke the tax exemption if properties are not properly maintained or neglected after the first year.
