Both Bethel Tate and West Clermont school districts defeated the same education measure in the November 3 election. Bethel Tate would have faced a 12.5 percent operational cut if the levy failed, while West Clermont’s failure could endanger teachers. Bethel Tate approved renewals and a new levy yielding about 6.30 per 1000 property value, West Clermont’s failed levy would have added 2.50 per 1000.
