Garden Club Christmas Show A Sleigh Ride Theme
Batavia Garden Club hosts A Christmas Sleigh Ride flower show on December 14 from 3 to 6 pm with public viewing 3 to 8 pm at The Christian Nation Church New Richmond. The exhibit features artistic and horticulture sections plus junior and invitational classes. Merwin PTA schedules a Christmas program December 13 at 8 pm featuring second to fourth grade students.

Mt Carmel Garden Club wins top at Clermont County Fair
Mt. Carmel Garden Club captured first place in the 1966 Clermont County Fair Flower Show with 97 points from 1365 entries. The club organized the show for the Clermont County Federation of Garden Clubs with 22 members led by Mrs. James True, who issued the schedule Come to the Fair.

Amelia High PTA Meeting Highlights Snowy Evening
The Amelia Junior and Senior High School PTA held a successful meeting despite snow. Activities included a talk on Revising High School English, seventh grade play Capricious Pearls, and performances by the High School Mixed Ensemble and Sophomore Triple Trio. Navy Standard Basic and Betty Crocker Homemaker tests were administered to seniors and interested girls respectively, with an Athletic Banquet and upcoming Government Americanism tests sponsored by Mt. Carmel American Legion Post.
