In the November payment of school foundation funds, Clermont County districts received 284688 dollars. Exempted village districts Milford and New Richmond were listed with 61581 and 9698 dollars respectively as announced by Auditor of State Roger Cloud.

AMELIA West Clermont School District campaign for a special election on December 13 outlines a door to door effort. PTA leaders recruit precinct lieutenants to organize volunteers with literature distribution beginning Saturday. Clermont County officials approve remodeling plans for the court house annex to create a second common pleas courtroom on the second floor and offices for the Agricultural Extension Service and clerk’s staff. Two Cincinnati Men Sentenced Fast in Clermont Burglary Case

Judge M Dale Osborne quickly sentences James V Woodrum and Gerald E Brennan both 22 after waiving rights in a Clermont burglary case. They had confessed to lootings including Hornsby Tavern near Goshen and Frank's Pony Keg and Carryout and the Bronze Bell Cafe. They receive 10 to 25 years in the penitentiary, with hopes of concurrent terms.
