Yule Fund Supports Clermont County Samaritans Aid

The Clermont County Samaritans and Needy Kids Christmas Fund receive support from R J Vilardo Chrysler Plymouth Milford. A three year old boy with hemophilia benefits from a provided play pen and other essentials as funds aim to help families with food fuel clothing and medical needs. Santa Claus visits the Milford car dealership while donations fund the drive through December 22 with ten dollar per car contributions.

Funds for Veterans Increased This Year

The Veterans Administration spent 495,984,944 dollars for Ohio's 1.6 million in fiscal year 1971. Clermont County received 3,934,376 dollars. Statewide compensation and pension costs totaled 272,693,699 with Clermont veterans receiving 2,767,841. Educational costs reached 67,100,915. readjustment and rehabilitation expenditures were 681,074 for the county. Insurance and indemnities to Ohio veterans totaled 47,828,660 with 485,461 for Clermont. Additional funds supported home loans and hospital costs across five hospitals in Cleveland, Brecksville, Dayton, Cincinnati, and Chillicothe.
