13 Year Old Girl Accidentally Shot In Odd Car Incident
Doris Lee Sawyer of Newtonsville was seriously wounded by a shotgun blast while her father and uncle left the car. The uncle, who was driving, closed the door as a shotgun discharged, sending pellets through her right hand and into her face. She received first aid from Dr. Allan Rapp and was taken by ambulance to Mariemont Hospital, then transferred to Children’s Hospital.
