DIES EN INDIANA ELDER KIDD DIES IN PIERCEVILLE
Daniel Kidd aged 80 and oldest son of the late Joseph Kidd died at his Pierceville Indiana home on November 17 while at the dinner table. He moved from here around 1876 to Pierceville to run a business and raise a family. He once operated in the local firm Rawson & Kidd and produced handmade bricks. Burial occurred in his hometown.

Fire at Felicity Threatens Town as Seven Buildings Burn
Last Sunday night about seven o'clock Felicity faced a widespread blaze. The Adams barn, owned by Charles Howard, burned with a cow and winter feed lost. Donald's barn also destroyed with feed. Embers set five additional buildings ablaze but they were quickly extinguished. Insurance coverage was light.

Simeon Atchley Dies in Cincinnati Burial Here
Simeon Atchley formerly of this place died in Cincinnati last Sunday after a tuberculosis illness. He was brought home for burial Tuesday with a funeral at the M. E. church conducted by Rev. Burdsall. Burial followed in Union Cemetery.

Clermont Lady Cordrey Dies in Cincinnati
Mrs. Cordrey formerly of Bethel and longtime Cincinnati resident died last Saturday and was buried in Union cemetery on Tuesday. She had been an invalid for years. Three sons Jess Will and J W Cordrey of Bethel mourn her loss.
FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF MR AND MRS LAYCOCK
Mr and Mrs E T Laycock celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary with a Thanksgiving Day dinner for relatives and friends. Yellow and white chrysanthemums decorated the event and each guest received a souvenir. The couple have three children two daughters and one son five grandchildren and one great grandchild. One daughter Mrs Weygandt of Columbus could not attend due to Mr W's mother.

Henry Drummond of Afton Dies After Short Illness
Henry Drummond, lifelong Afton resident, died last Wednesday at his sister’s home after a brief illness. He was 65, widowed years ago, and leaves two sons John and Moody, plus a brother and sister. Funeral at Afton M E Church Friday, interment in Union Cemetery Batavia beside his wife.

Buried in Batavia Sister of Pegg Laid to Rest
Mrs. McCane aged 90 and sister of Charles Pegg died in Falmouth Kentucky last Thursday. She was brought to Batavia for burial with services from her brother's Main Street home and interment in Union cemetery beside her husband. She had lived with her son in law after her daughter’s death four years ago.
