Man Strikes Car At Amelia Dies In Route To Hospital
Carl Marsh 29 of Jackson Street Camp Dennison died after his car struck a parked vehicle on Main Street Amelia about 11 am Monday. He died at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital Mariemont at 1 15 pm. Witnesses say Marsh was speeding 50 to 60 mph and may have fallen asleep before the crash. Marsh is survived by his wife Doris and several siblings.

The Light Construction Company of Amelia submitted a low bid of 43790 to the Clermont County Commissioners for a new waterworks administration building on White Oak Road near Amelia. Three bidders competed. completion expected in five months. Bids were sent to Alfred LeFeber and Associates for recommendation. Developers in the area are studying sewer plant acceptance.
