Milford Record reports Martin Krouse was shot in the chest by companion Joe Belford while hunting rabbits on the Hamilton county side of the river. Belford killed a hare that ran toward Krouse. Krouse was treated at home by Dr Spence who removed 28 shot and said the injury would be only a temporary inconvenience.
