Two fatal accidents claim three Clermont County lives
Two weekend crashes in Clermont County killed three people. David Mason 32 and passenger Vicki Pugh 19 died when their motorcycle slid left of center on Nine Mile Road. Marvin Lamb 16 died after a suspected sleep episode caused a car to hit a tree on Ohio 125 near Sterling Road. The Lamb driver, Kevin Lamb, was hospitalized in guarded condition. Julia Mable and Elgin Lamb suffered injuries.

Regional plant project opens in Clermont County area
Groundbreaking for the Lower East Fork Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility occurred in Milford on August 29 at US 50 near I-275. The $13 million facility, funded by a $9 million EPA grant plus $4 million from local bonds and assessments, will serve Miami and Union Townships and portions of Batavia, handling about seven million gallons per day and replacing five older plants.
