County plan outlines new data systems and water projects
Clermont County funds 150000 for data processing in the auditor and support unit and to replace the water and sewer department computer. A data processing board will guide expansion. a systems analyst will be hired. Projects include a 3.5 million Happy Hollow Lift Station upgrade, lower East Fork plant modifications, and Middle East Fork Wastewater Treatment upgrades to remove the Bethel plant. A master water system plan and a county wide 911 system are also in motion. The county faces growing costs in health, liability, and personnel, with several budgets and state rulings affecting revenues.
