Jumps From Car Strikes Pole. 13 Year Old Hurt
Howard Hughes a 13 year old of Highland Park was riding a car between Batavia and Highland Park when he leaped from it at full speed. He struck an electric pole with his forehead and was knocked senseless. He was taken to Batavia for medical aid and returned home the next car. He had attempted similar leaps before. He is badly hurt and there is concern over his recovery.

Man Dies by Suicide in Brown County Farm Barn
Ed Laughlin 45, of a small Williamsburg area farm in Brown County, took carbolic acid Sunday night and ended his life. His wife found his body Monday in the barn with the empty bottle. The coroner's verdict was death by own action. He leaves a wife and three children and was buried Thursday.

Largest Egg in World Exhibited at New York Museum
