Waived Examinations In Rape Case At Batavia

Last Monday at 9 a m C R Gaskins of Amelia an insurance agent faced Justice E O Lease on a rape charge involving Bessie Wymer of Batavia 15. Gaskins held on 1000 bond remanded to jail pending grand jury action. sheriff Teal located the girl after a 48 hour search. The case was waived for grand jury and Gaskins remained jailed. A diarrhoea remedy notice follows.

Judge C C Lemert becomes president of the Ohio National Life of Cincinnati proving his capacity as a life insurance head.
