RE FIT program aids displaced Ohio farmers in transition
The Ohio Agricultural Extension Service launches RE FIT Rural Economics: Farmers in Transition to help displaced farming families. Program, run by CNRD, offers counseling, income support, retraining, and farm-family adjustments with support from USDA Special Projects Fund. ohio focus may spread to other states as a model.
