Calvin S. Lewis Batavia zoning inspector 41 suffered concussion fractured pelvis and body lacerations after his dry cleaning truck collided with Frank Malek 80 on Ohio 32. Gary Horton 15 also injured. Both taken to Jewish Hospital Cincinnati. Horton treated and released. Lewis in fair condition Wednesday.

Four To Get Hearing On Stone Throwing
Four Bethel men admitted throwing stones at Bethel Mayor Sharp's home and photography studio. They confessed to breaking an $80 plate glass window at 115 South Street and were charged with malicious destruction of property. Bids will be accepted by the Ohio Director of Highways until 10 a.m. Sept 15 for the improvement of Route 32 in Sterling and Green townships and Mt Crab village in Brown County and Williamsburg township in Clermont County. Man Charged In Connection With Theft Of Auto
James J. West, 38, of Dayton was charged with disorderly conduct after police say he was found in a stolen car in Xenia. Mrs Helen Wisecup declined to sign a warrant charging West with auto theft. The vehicle was taken from in front of Maggie Murphy's home, Wisecup's grandmother, as West was located behind the wheel near Clark Street.

Clermont Women to Receive Sweet Adelines Charter
The Miami Valley Chapter of Sweet Adelines will be chartered August 29 at the American Legion Home in Batavia.
